Barbara is a Diplomate of the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Surgeons. After an illustrious career in academia culminating in her Professorship at University College Dublin, Barbara joined the Veterinary Specialists Ireland family in April 2021.

It is an understatement to say Barbara has been instrumental in the training of many surgical interns and residents over her tenure in academia. We are delighted to have a surgeon with Barbara’s knowledge, expertise and dedication within our team. Barbara is an Irish Wolfhound aficionado, and Charlie and Síomha can often be found roaming around the grounds of Veterinary Specialists Ireland
