American and EBVS Specialist in Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition

Cecilia graduated from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain in 2000 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and subsequently a doctoral degree in Animal Nutrition in 2005.

She was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California Davis for two years, with a focus on feline obesity. She subsequently completed her residency in small animal nutrition at UC Davis. She was welcomed as a Diplomate of the American and European Colleges of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition in 2010.

She became adjunct Professor of Small Animal Nutrition at UAB where she was also chief of service of the nutrition support service. She currently works as a consultant clinical nutritionist at Expert Pet Nutrition. Cecilia works with Veterinary Specialists Ireland as a visiting consultant nutritionist.
